I suggest to wait with a stable release at least until PyQt5 5.12 is
released in Debian unstable (it is currently in experimental). I think
this change will be made with the buster release which will happen in ~2
months. All the other supported Linux distributions and operating
systems (as of the downloads page + FreeBSD) already have 5.12
integrated properly (for MacOS and Windows I am referring to PyPI
platform wheel versions).
