I'm busy investigating alternatives. So far Liberapay[1] seems good. Other options are OpenCollective[2] and Patreon[3].<br>

Liberapay and OpenCollective are both open source. Patreon is not, and is geared toward content creators, so I'm not inclined to use it unless it's the best option.<br>
